About Us

Whatcom County/Bellingham Plag started in the fall of 1994, when a group of parents, family members, friends, lesbians, and gay men met at a local church to deal with the discrimination all were concerned about.   With over 200,000 members and supporters, and local affiliates in 501 communiies across the U.S. and abroad, PFLAG is the largest grassroots-based famiy organization of its kind.

Every Meeting offers opportunities for sharing in an open yet confidential dialogue with supportive members of other families who have or are dealing with acceptance of their loved ones sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

Meetings are the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7pm at the First Congretational Church at 2401 Cornwall
